Clones share their data, so deleting one frees almost nothing. Undig detects them and shows what you will really recover.
Undig Cleaner shows where every gigabyte goes, clears what is safe to clear, and lets you undo all of it.

macOS hides most of your disk behind “System Data”. Undig measures the sealed system volume, hidden APFS volumes, purgeable space, snapshots and the Trash, and explains each one in plain language.

Make room
Need 30 GB for an update? Undig builds the safest plan that gets you there. Safe items first, anything uncertain clearly flagged.
Technology
Undig goes deeper into how macOS actually stores your data, then tells you the truth about what you will get back.
Clones share their data, so deleting one frees almost nothing. Undig detects them and shows what you will really recover.
Apple's visual recognition groups near-identical shots and keeps the best one. Nothing is ever uploaded.
Free space without deleting a thing. Files stay in iCloud and come back when you open them.
Keeps free space above your threshold. Everything stays undoable for days, then it is released for real.
Undig tracks your free space, forecasts the day it runs out and shows what grew the most.
See what an app really weighs, app plus its data, and when you last opened it. Then remove everything, reversibly.
Your free space at a glance, a quiet alert before the disk fills, and a one-click scan.
For developers
Xcode, simulators, Homebrew, npm, Cargo, Gradle, AI models. Undig knows what each folder is, how to get it back, and which projects you abandoned months ago.

Questions
Everything Undig removes goes to the Trash first and is recorded in a Journal, so you can restore it until you empty the Trash. When Undig is unsure, nothing is ticked by default, and every row explains what it is.
No. Undig runs entirely on your Mac. There is no account and no analytics, and license keys are verified offline.
macOS hides the Trash and some folders from apps. Without access Undig still works, but it cannot see or empty the Trash.
Autopilot first sets safe items aside, and you can undo that. Only after the safety window you chose does it free for good, and only what Undig itself set aside. It is off by default and part of Undig Pro.
You can still scan and see everything. Cleaning more needs Undig Pro, a single payment.
